The blue one was the first purchase, but suffered from the zip (on the right hand side from armpit to waist) being too heavy and silver. It wasn't that difficult to find a matching blue one and replace it. Then came the 'chore' of finding suitable underwear.
I love sheer-to-the-waist tights, so clearly that was one problem solved. A tight narrow thong with waistband truly at the waist would work as well, it being necessary to ensure 'flatness' as the dress was going to be clingy. Close examination reveals that the waistband might actually be a little too tight.

The one sleeved arm all in shiny scarlet gives the asymmetry real pizzazz. All the accessories were naturally in matching colour, and even my thong was shiny red, though my admiring public were not to know that. A tousled hairstyle completed the 'casual but elegant' whore-like look.
A real favourite that has been worn on many occasions.
That Dress

With the experience of the stretch ciré numbers it was clear that the underwear wouldn't be too problematic. The pantyhose would have to be as sheer as possible. The thong would be nude. And the waistbands of both would have to be very carefully placed to be hidden by one of the bars across the oh-so-provocative split. But it worked, and a single glove on the unshouldered side (unfortunately not in burgundy but black velvet), full hair and some diamanté completed the look I really wanted.
Again - an outfit that has been worn many times.
